Gable infills is always in different dimensions for all houses and when we design and manufacture the gable infills we do it just for you.
Standard material thickness
Standard thickness is 18 mm, but can be ordered in 24 mm, as well as in solid pine, 21 mm.
Mounting & Installation
Infill decor is mounted in existing frameworks. Appropriately attached with wooden quarter strip.

Our gable decorations are crafted in Sweden from WBP-bonded (Water and Boil Proof) birch plywood—the same adhesive class used for marine plywood—giving excellent moisture resistance and long service life.
Birch plywood is exceptionally dimensionally stable and does not crack, even in slender sections. This makes it possible to achieve the fine, decorative cut-outs typical of gingerbread woodwork without compromising strength or durability.
These can be ordered in 24 mm, as well as in solid pine, 21 mm.
Painting & Finishing
- Lightly sand end grain with fine paper.
- Prime thoroughly—apply generously and work into edges and end grain. A small roller helps on flat areas; use a brush for profiles.
- Recommended: high-quality paint systems. Prefer an oil-based primer and an exterior joinery/window paint (with film preservatives) or an oil-based topcoat. Avoid dead-matt finishes as they tend to attract biological growth.
- Linseed oil paint is also suitable—apply carefully and use a quality brand.

- Larger items (e.g. long mouldings/moldings) are delivered to your address; smaller parcels normally go to a service point.
