Door Architrave Set - 95 mm - No. 2106
Lengths
The package contains the following lengths:
- 2 pcs 230 cm
- 1 pc 130 cm
Cutting and mitre joints
The package is delivered with straight cut ends. The mouldings are therefore not pre-mitred (45° angled cuts) at the corners.
Final adjustment and mitre cutting are carried out on site during installation, allowing the angles to be adapted precisely to the specific doorway and wall conditions. This ensures a better fit than pre-cut lengths, as walls and openings are rarely perfectly 90 degrees.

Installation
Best mounted with finishing nails or brads. Smaller and lighter pieces can be fixed most easily with construction adhesive or mounting adhesive.
Tips
Combine with a Plinth or Casing Block for a refined result.
Quality, material & treatment
Our mouldings are normally knot-free on three sides, but smaller knots and blemishes may occur. For a neat and durable result, we recommend using filler, decorators’ caulk, and sandpaper.
It is also advisable to prime with a stain-blocking primer or shellac to seal any resin in the knots. Shellac prevents resin from bleeding through the paint.
Tip: Certain primers are specially formulated to reduce the risk of discolouration and resin bleed from knots. We recommend consulting your paint supplier to find the right product.
What does “random and varying lengths” mean?
Your order will be supplied in mixed lengths, depending on what is available in stock at the time of dispatch. The lengths will be no shorter than 2.2 metres and no longer than 3.9 metres, although longer pieces may occasionally occur.
Things to consider upon delivery
Wood is a living material and is affected by moisture and temperature. When your order arrives, allow the package to remain unopened for at least 48 hours, as it may have been cooled or heated during transport. Opening too quickly may cause the moulding to warp.
