PRODUCT INFORMATION

Painting & Surface Preparation
Our balusters are made of solid pine and will naturally contain knots; minor tear-out and blemishes can also occur. For a neat and durable finish, fill small gaps and imperfections with wood filler or decorators’ caulk, then sand smooth.
Before painting, prime with a high-quality stain-blocking primer or a shellac-based sealer to lock in resin at knots and prevent bleed-through and discolouration. Some primers are formulated specifically for knot-rich timber—ask your paint supplier for a suitable product.
For best results, coat all faces—including cut ends and edges—before installation. Finish with two coats of exterior paint according to the manufacturer’s instructions.

How are the packages delivered?
- We pack each parcel with a maximum weight of 35 kg. For larger orders, the delivery will be split into several parcels.
- If you prefer to receive one large package, you can choose collection at the nearest freight terminal. Contact us for more information.
